The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for providing clinical services in the Medical Center's Nuclear Medicine department. These responsibilities include preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and the operation of imaging and monitoring equipment.
Employee will provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff with an emphasis on quality service and safe care. Employee must be self-motivated and demonstrate ability to work as a team. Employee will be responsible for routine Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging. Prepare, administer and measure radioactive isotopes in diagnostic, some therapeutic, and tracer studies utilizing a variety of radioisotope equipment. Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation to patient to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment, under the direction of Radiologist.
Performs other duties as trained and as assigned. Candidates should possess ARRT (N) Certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist or CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist), NYS Radiologic Technologist license, combined with excellent oral and written skills; previous experience will be a plus.

- NMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
- New York State Department of Health License or eligible.
- NMTCB; plus CT certification or ARRT; NM plus CT or DX certification.
Education: Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduation from accredited Nuclear Medicine certificate program.
Experience: Experience a plus, but new grads welcome.
Licensure: NYS NM, DX or CT
Physical Requirements: Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, safely transfer patients and ambulate without assistance.
