Job Summary:
Employee will be responsible for a multitude of MRI exams including Interventional MRI and will be knowledgeable of and dedicated to MR safety. Employee will provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff with an emphasis on quality service and excellent patient care. Employee must be self-motivated and demonstrate ability to work as a team.
Employee will be expected to cover all MRI sites within the system on an as needed basis: Main campus, East Campus, Cortland, and possibly Schuyler Hospital. Shift is Monday-Friday, 4p-Midnight or 3p-11pm and an option to join the on call rotation.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess a current NYS Radiologic Technologist license and be MRI registered or registry eligible. Completion of MRI certification within 1 year of employment. A minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI is desired, combined with excellent customer service skills and the ability to stand unsupported, reach, bend, carry, push, pull and lift.
Physical Demands : May require light lifting and carrying, including boxes, equipment, stooping and kneeling, maybe required to lift up to 30 pounds. Repetitive use of hands (eg. computer keyboard usage), sitting, walking or standing for long periods of time is often necessary.
Travel Requirements:

• Onsite - Employee will be expected to cover all MRI sites within the system on an as needed basis
