What We Offer:Flexible PTOCorporate Discount HubIndustry Leading Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision and more)401k match 100% of contributions up to 5% Annual Bonus Tuition Reimbursement Monthly Cell Phone Stipends What You’ll Do:Manage MEP trade material submittals in accordance with the contract documentsManage MEP trade material tracking and procurement documentationDevelop, monitor, and maintain MEP schedule in conjunction with project field supervision teamReview field installationManage testing and commissioning effortsReview and advise on MEP requisitions and contract changesHandle MEP related close out document deliveryEncourage and participate in staff training and developmentUnderstand MCA labor rates and NECA factors when reviewing proposals and change ordersProvide leadership to foster an environment of diversity, inclusion and safetyAnalyze contract documents for constructability, code compliance and functionalityLead MEP trade 3D coordination meetings and coordinated drawings submittal approval processGuide and monitor MEP trade coordination and installation on site What You’ll Bring:Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant experience.At least 1-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer, or more than 3 years of related construction experience.Excellent experience in key construction and project management areas, such as but not limited to, estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting and client relationships, and safety.Strong experience in basic computer applications and software such as MS Office, Procore, and Bluebeam. Preference for particularly strong MS Excel and MS Project experience.Undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical or fire protection/life safety engineering, construction management or a related discipline OR 5 years of relevant experience preferred5 years experience in construction and managing MEP trades, experience with a general contractor preferredExperience with successfully leading teams and working within MEP design review, drawing supervision, submittal review, field inspections, and testing & commissioningExperience working on large scale construction, with MEP trade specific experience to create a vision that aligns the team to achieve desired resultsDetail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesA proven people leader with experience in attracting, developing, and engaging diverse talent by fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture based on trust and respectMitigate risk through proactive and timely reduction of change order exposuresAbility to quickly and effectively adapt to changes during different phases of the construction process The Catalyst Difference:Catalyst Construction Group (“CCG”) is a full-service construction management and general contracting company, strategically established to further CA Ventures vertically integrated business model.
