Basic Function:

This person will be responsible for assisting the District Sales Manager with servicing the chain accounts to ensure continuity in product offering by promoting Cavalier products throughout the assigned market to help impact sales through display execution, chain programming and helping to reduce out of stocks.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance relationships within key accounts.
• Merchandising duties – including shelf placement, display building, and product rotation
• Ensure product freshness within the store
• Assist in all resets of chain stores.
• Install any point of sale signage as needed.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates including evenings and/or weekends.
• Responsible for handling cash payments and payments via Fintech and submitting to Accounts Receivable for processing when making any deliveries.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities and industry trends.
• Maintain proficiency on company routing software.
• Maintain adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
• Assist in displaying merchandise during peak seasonal roll out to chains.
• Familiarize established accounts with new products and developments.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints in accordance with company policy.
• Keep information on competitive products, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies. Inform company of industry trends, competitive activity and conditions that would affect company interests.
• Staying up-to-date on Company routing software.
• Any other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Type of person we are looking for:

• Candidates must be energetic, competitive, and passionate about a career in sales.

• Previous experience with outside field sales, preferably in the craft beer industry with a wholesaler or brewery supplier.

• People who can work autonomously and be self-motivated.

• People who are flexible to relocate for career growth.

Required Experience:

• Must live in the market area.

• 2-5 years wholesaler or supplier experience.

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is preferred

• Must have knowledge of industry.

• Must have knowledge of the brewing and cider making process.

• Must be able to work some nights, weekends, and events.

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a safe & reliable vehicle.
