Job Overview:

Causeway Collaborative, LLC is seeking a contracted, part-time Psych APRN to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This includes psychiatric assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in psychiatric-mental health nursing
• Current and valid APRN license with specialization in psychiatric-mental health nursing
• 2 year clinical experience

Skills:

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and medication management

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Service Caseload:
• Maintain a direct clinical service caseload between 5-15 hours per week (these hours do not include administrative meetings)

• Assessment and Diagnosis:
• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to evaluate mental health status.
• Diagnose mental health disorders based on clinical assessments and diagnostic criteria.

• Treatment Planning:
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the patient, their families, and the clinical services team.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities into treatment plans.

• Medication Management:
• Prescribe psychotropic medications based on clinical assessment and treatment goals.
• Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and adjust prescriptions as needed.

• Collaboration and Consultation:
• Consult with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in administrative meetings as needed, including but not limited to clinical meetings and program review meetings.

• Education and Support:
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in documentation.
