Assistant Manager
Duties:
- Assist the store manager in daily operations and management of the retail store
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues
- Train and supervise sales associates to ensure they meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Assist with scheduling and managing employee shifts
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement sales strategies
Skills:
- Sales management: Ability to drive sales and meet sales goals
- Recruiting: Experience in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
- Payroll: Knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
- Organizational: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Shift management: Experience in managing employee schedules and shift rotations
- Math: Proficiency in basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management
- Retail math: Understanding of retail math concepts, including profit margins, markups, and discounts
