Then you have what it takes to be a St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center® RN. Our fast paced cardiovascular ambulatory facility is located in West Islip, NY. Shifts include Monday-Friday with weekend rotations.

Responsibilities:

• EKG interpretation while conducting stress testing.
• Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for patients undergoing stress testing
• Triage patients walking into the clinic as well as over the phone

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including attending physicians, MLPs, RNs and support staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.

• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

Requirements:

• Passion for Cardiac Nursing
• 1 years of in-patient experience
• Experience reading cardiac monitors
• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Advanced life support ( ACLS) required, Cardiac-Vascular Certification Preferred

The pay for this position ranges from $51.50 – $66.95 per hour.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
