The CHS Physician Partners Medical Group is CH’s employed faculty, comprising approximately 450 physicians and mid-level providers in more than 90 community-based locations, spanning from Manhattan to Long Island’s East End. Position Description: Vascular Physician Assistant

This role entails a balanced allocation of time across various settings including the operating room (OR), office-based patient visits, order management, and performing office-based vein procedures, as well as attending to duties on hospital floors.
Key responsibilities include providing assistance in complex vascular surgeries conducted in the OR, managing patient inquiries via phone, placing orders, prescribing medications, and offering basic follow-up care within the office environment.
Additionally, the role involves facilitating pre-operative clearances, ensuring appropriate orders and tests are conducted, and triaging consultations from the hospital floors to the emergency room (ER).
Furthermore, the position entails drafting office progress notes on behalf of the supervising physician, contributing to comprehensive patient care documentation.
