Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 11pm-7am to join our team. We have an opeining in North Miami and Fort Lauderdale. As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our clinical department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the clinical staff, including nurses and medical assistants
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor patient care activities and ensure adherence to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
- Provide guidance and support to staff in handling complex patient cases
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new clinical staff members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Handle any escalated patient concerns or complaints
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in [state]
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in an acute care setting
- Experience in ophthalmology is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Athenahealth
