Our family is searching for a night nurse (RN/LPN) for our sweet, medically complex son Nathaniel. We live in the South Denver area. This position would be overnight in our home, to monitor for seizures, fix g-tube alarms, etc. He is non-verbal and non-ambulatory. He loves people, sloths, music, and dancing.
Our son is in bed from about 7pm - 7 am, so a large chunk of your shift can be spent monitoring him in a space at our home set aside for you (coffee/tea bar included), using our monitoring tech, while crafting, praying, Netflixing, studying, etc.
Are you a new nurse or thinking of switching to pediatrics from adults? We are happy to train you on his specific care tasks (CPT, g-tube meds administration, etc), and we have created a printed care plan to help guide you in his (quite simple) routines.
We are hoping for someone 3 to 4 nights a week, with 8, 10, or 12 hour night shifts, ending at about 7:45 am on school days, or 8 - 9 am if you prefer shifts on weekends/holidays. We are very flexible on hours! Full or Part-time options; it's up to you. Above 30 hrs/wk qualifies for benefits (medical, dental, PTO, etc.)!
The nurses would be hired by A Physician's Home Care, to work specifically with our family. APHC is an excellent, locally-owned company to work for; they truly care about the well-being of their employees and client families.
Current pay: RN $34-$37/hr | LPN $25-$28/hr
