Prince of Peace Catholic Church , in Chesapeake Virginia, is seeking a Parish Secretary.

The ministry includes greeting parishioners and visitors in person and on the phone; maintaining census data using Parishsoft;

distributing mail; creating weekly bulletin and maintaining parish calendar; providing assistance to the various ministries and performing other related duties as requested by the Pastor.

Minimum education requirement of a high school diploma; work experience in secretarial / administrative assistance. Some college preferred.

This is a full time but non-exempt position.

Must possess computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office products. Candidate must be a practicing / participating Catholic in good standing with the church;
