This role exists to support and implement the Mission of Magnificat High School. The Streaks Boutique Manager, under the direction of the Director of Communications, is responsible for the operations and management of the Magnificat Streaks Boutique and online store. The Streaks Boutique Manager also assists with marketing and communications in support of the school community. Reports to: Director of Communications Classification: Non-Exempt, Full Time- 30 hours per week, 12 month (1560 hours annually) Start date July 1, 2024

Position Summary: Manages daily Magnificat Streaks Boutique operations; including but not limited to: Manages opening and closing responsibilities. Responsible for cash register, fund management, and reconciliation responsibilities. Works closely with the Finance Department with timely reconciliation, revenue, and sales tax reports. Maintains the physical appearance of the boutique retail space to ensure cleanliness, organization, and effective display of merchandise. Working with the Associate Director of Family and Community Engagement recruits, trains, schedules, and manages parent volunteers who assist in the boutique. Facilitates effective online store presence and inventory. Assures high standard of customer service performance with timely processing of online sales orders and shipments. Prepares monthly online sales and tax reports. Working directly with the Director of Communications, develops and maintains relationships with vendors working with both retail and online vendors to create and procure products. Research new product opportunities using market research and focus groups. In collaboration with the Director of Communications, purchases and tracks boutique and online inventory on a seasonal retail schedule. Under the supervision of the Director of Communications, provides marketing and communications functions to maximize boutique and online store sales and special events. Effectively coordinates with Communications Department personnel to use social media to market the sale of Magnificat related merchandise. Performs other duties as requested by the Director of Communications, Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing, or delegated individual. Qualifications and Experience: Must have a high school diploma or demonstrated equivalent Bachelor degree in retail management, business or marketing preferred Minimum of 3 years of retail experience preferred Retail management experience is a plus Marketing and digital marketing experience is a plus Knowledge and experience in sales and market research preferred Proficient competency in Word, Excel, Google Suite Understanding of financial management and inventory software Superior interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage internal and external resources Displays a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as well as independently High level of professionalism Strong belief in, and respect for, the Mission and values of Magnificat High School
