Business-Entrepreneurship Teacher - Full Time Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School is seeking candidates for a Business Teacher. Job Summary: This position is responsible for teaching the basic skills needed to start and manage a small business operation, including but not limited to developing a business plan, feasibility assessment, marketing, basic accounting, financial management, customer service, business etiquette, economic principles, problem solving, legal compliance, and leadership skills. Job responsibilities: Prepare engaging lessons and units that promote skills, knowledge, and critical thinking consistent with course outcomes Maintain up-to-date lesson plans; develop rubrics for projects and other class activities; correct student work in a conscientious and prompt manner; and maintain up-to-date scope and sequence for courses taught using published framework. Communicate regular feedback about student progress; maintain open and timely communication with parents. Stay current with classroom technology applications and regularly incorporate them into lesson plans. Model professional business behavior. Actively supervise students at all times
