General Position Summary

The ISN Personal Agent (PA) Coordinator is responsible for the collaborative supervision of Personal Agents within a small team.

This position works with their team members to ensure the consistent implementation of Support Service activities and serves as a liaison between the Brokerage Leadership Team and the Personal Agents.

The PA Coordinator supports the personal agents with providing trauma-informed case management services to persons with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities, using person centered practices to assist individuals in identifying support needs and life goals.

The PA Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field or an associate degree in a behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field and two years of human services related experience or high school diploma / GED and four years of human services related experience with increasingly responsible employment in related field required.
  • Knowledge of the public service systems in Oregon.
  • Experience working in a team setting.
  • Strong Organizational skills, ability to self-direct, experience with effective time management.
  • Reliable transportation, valid Oregon driver’s license (or the ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver’s license within 30 days of hire) with a driving record that permits coverage under the agency’s corporate auto liability policy and personal automobile liability insurance.
  • Complete required case management core competency modules : (i) Tier 1 trainings within 30 days of employment start date and before working unassisted, (ii) Tier 2 trainings within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Attend or participate in ISP training that is endorsed or sponsored by the department with the first year of employment start date.
  • Complete 20 hours per year of Department sponsored training or other training in the areas of intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous management experience in social service setting with working knowledge of case management systems and planning techniques.
  • Previous experience as a Personal Agent.
  • Previous experience in Person Centered Planning and Self-Determination.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish or other second language.
