Join the Refugee Resettlement team as a supervisor. The Supervisor, Social Adjustment Services (SAS) is responsible for enrolling eligible clients into the SAS program and referring them to other necessary programs, as needed. The Supervisor, SAS will oversee the completion of intakes, assessments, and ensure the provision of quality case management services for all clients enrolled in the program. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills and be able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
The Expertise We're Looking For
Associate degree; or
Two (2) years of experience in lieu of education
Two (2) years of experience in a social service setting or similar setting
One (1) year of experience in a leadership role
Valid Texas Driver’s License

You have knowledge of leadership principles and best practices.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to influence others.
You have the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
You have the ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
You have nonprofit experience is preferred, but not required.
You have experience with applicable software e.g. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
What you Deliver
You coordinate SAS efforts, helping to ensure that case management outcomes are met, and overseeing data entry into the Refugee Management Solutions (RMS) and Client Track databases.
You oversee the provision of assessments, intakes, and individualized service plans to eligible clients. Works with Case Managers to ensure all needs identified in the needs assessment are properly addressed. Refers clients to internal and external programs to help address needs identified in the needs assessment.
You provide or coordinates transportation and interpretation for eligible clients to social service agencies and medical centers, as needed. Advocates for clients and provides follow-up assistance for Case Managers and clients, as needed.
You complete documentation in a timely manner, submit documentation by due date and complete progress notes. Maintain accurate file documentations for all clients. Attend staff meetings regularly.
You perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
