Catholic Charities of Louisville is Hiring a Data Entry Specialist Near louisville, KY
The Data Entry Specialist works as part of the Employment and Benefits Team to assist in data entry, mostly related to the implementation of the Refugee Cash Assistance program.
In keeping with the Mission and Vision of Catholic Charities of Louisville, the Data Entry Specialist demonstrates the Values of the agency: Welcome, Empower and Strengthen.
SALARY $24 an hour
Job Skills / RequirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
1. Documents and records all services related to the Cash Assistance programs through online databases, spreadsheets, and physical files and periodically review documentation for errors.
2. Enters new client information into the Client Track database.
3. Reports to work regularly and on time.
4. All other duties as assigned.
Additional Information / BenefitsWORKING CONDITIONS:
This work is performed in an office setting with moderate noise due to computers, printers, and people moving about.
EFFORT:
· Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Ability to accurately examine and analyze information.
· Must have good vision and hearing.
MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT: telephone, computer, printer, copy machine, calculator, scanner, and shredder.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma required. Associate’s Degree and two years of experience in data entry and/or database management preferred.
