As the Head Preschool Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

• Utilize the Troy City School District UPK curriculum and guidelines
• Informally observe and evaluate children
• Maintain files on children specifically related to social and cognitive group and development
• Encourage and model social behaviors and expectations which are developmentally appropriate
• Be available and response to children’s needs, questions, and requests
• This is a 10 month position

This position is offering a $1,500 sign on bonus

Head Preschool Teacher Minimum Salary: $20.00 per hour

Head Preschool Teacher Maximum Salary: $20.00 per hour

Head Preschool Teacher Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
• 1-3 years of experience in a daycare/preschool/classroom setting
• Preferred: NYS Pre-School Teacher Certification or eligible to receive certification (we will work you to help obtain certification)
