Catholic Charities North Dakota seeks an Assistant Director for its Guardianship Services for the Vulnerable (GSV) department. We provide guardianship services for vulnerable individuals 18 years and older. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about our mission to serve elderly persons and individuals with mental health issues or any other type of vulnerability. Our work is to provide support and direction for the individuals who have no source of support and are having difficulty living and making decisions in their daily lives. We are here to help the person make informed, person-centered decisions through understanding of consequences and dignity of risk on the spectrum of life choices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, assisting the GSV Program Director in the following tasks:

• Develop and maintain job descriptions for all GSV staff.
• Recruit, hire, orientate, train and supervise/coach some GSV staff as well as complete job performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement ongoing staff development.
• Manage the referral/waiting list and determine which GSV worker is assigned the case.
• Formulate and maintain caseload standards, staffing time, location logistics and an effective service model.
• Ensure that case reviews are conducted at least quarterly with each GSV worker.
• Complete Supervisory Audits and gather Outcome data on behalf of assigned case files on a quarterly basis as part of the GSV's quality assurance process.
• Coordinate quarterly peer reviews and complete quarterly summary peer review report.
• Develop and maintain services and programs to effectively meet new and ongoing guardianship needs, i.e., payee/conservatorship services, technical assistance programs, etc.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as designated by the GSV Program Director.

Qualifications include the following:

• MA/S degree in social work or related human services field and at least two years of experience or LBSW or a four year degree in social work or related human services field with at least four years of experience in or connected to guardianship.
• Appropriate experience in supervision or management.
• Good organizational, communication and "people" skills.
• Knowledge of guardianship and the needs of the populations to be served, including service delivery systems.
