Catholic Charities Disabilities Services is Hiring a Nurse Educator Near Albany, NY

We are currently hiring a Nurse Educator, to work in our Catholic Charities Disabilities Services agency.* As the Nurse Educator,* you would be responsible for:

· Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the AMAP Medication Certification class to be held monthly. This includes observing the staff complete their medication pours observations for medication administration certification

· Responsible for the planning and implementation of other educational programs and trainings for clinical and non-clinical staff

· Responsible for maintaining a small residential caseload

· Adheres to all guidelines and regulations set forth by the agency’s business plan(s) and/or other oversight entities such as, but not limited to; OPWDD, CDC, DOH.

Nurse Educator Minimum Salary: $73,944

Nurse Educator Maximum Salary: $73,944

Nurse Educator Schedule: M-F, 8:30am - 5:00pm *some flexibility with hours*

Qualifications:

· Valid NYS Driver’s License

· Associate Degree in Nursing

· A current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License

· 3-5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
