We are a group of only 125 dedicated people, committed to improving the quality of life for those in need by providing comprehensive social and human services. We provide services in southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod with the goal of helping our clients gain long-term stability. We are conveniently located in Fall River, MA away from the heavily travelled commuting routes, with a new state of the art shelter opening in the near future in Attleboro, MA.
Our New Director of Family Shelters will be joining our H.O.U.S.E. (Helping Others until Self-Empowered) team.
H.O.U.S.E is a short-term EA (emergency assistance) shelter program for families. Families are identified and referred to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fall River (CCFR) by DHCD (Department of Housing and Community Development).
The main focus of the emergency assistance shelter program is to help families achieve successful placement into stable housing. Our new Director will report directly to the COO, filling the key role by:
· Providing visible enthusiastic leadership to our staff and programs.
· Overseeing program compliance, operations, documentation, and people management.
· Encouraging workplace learning and development of staff

What You Bring to The Table
· BS/BA helpful
· Leadership experience in human services, housing or homelessness
· Critical thinking skills, leadership skills and personal accountability for the quality and impact of work
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
· A reliable ensured vehicle, good driving record and valid driver’s license
· Commitment to integrity, excellence, and the highest standards of ethics
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
