**Bar Manager Job Overview:**

We are seeking a very skilled and experienced Bar Manager to oversee all bar operations at Catherine Rooney’s Irish Pub & Restaurant. This is a hands on position requiring extensive knowledge on bar and restaurant operations with prior bartending & management experience required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bar management, bartending, hospitality management, and customer service. **Responsibilities:**

- Manage all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff scheduling

- Ensure compliance with food and beverage safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness

- Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding service

- Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction

- Collaborate with our team to coordinate food and beverage offerings

- Oversee all bar weekly operations

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience as a bartender and/or bar manager in a high volume setting

- Strong knowledge of bar operations, including mixology, beverage trends, inventory, ordering, scheduling and bar management

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations

- Familiarity with restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings (we are open until 1am daily), weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate should be seeking full time employment with open availability.
