The Manager of Memory Care at Allen Brook (MCAB) provides general oversight, mentoring to the staff while fostering a team approach. They are responsible for the overall operations including; supervision of direct reports, resident services, clinical oversight, regulatory compliance (including HUD regulations, VSHA, Medicaid, Residential Care and Assisted Living Regulations), review of the annual budget, food services and maintenance operations. Reporting to this position is the RN, Resident Assistants, and Programming Coordinator.

Qualifications

Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field. experience operating a senior residence (a HUD service licensed residential care home, nursing facility or assisted living community) serving seniors or individuals with disabilities. Must have knowledge of HUD and other applicable housing regulations, as well as Medicaid programs, ACCS, ERC, and other funding programs and governing bodies related to assisted living. They must have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide variety of people. Excellent organizational and time-management skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and computer literacy.
