Associate degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or other health-related field. May consider a bachelor’s degree with a successful internship in place of two years of experience.

BCLS for healthcare providers or completion of BCLS from the American Heart Association within one month of employment date.

Required

Two years experience in fitness and exercise conditioning. Experience in patient education with an adult population and/or basic course work in adult education. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
