Catapult Technology Solutions, LLC is Hiring a PC Technician Near Carmel, IN

Computer Technology of Carmel is looking for a Computer Repair Technician to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware or software. They will diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software or other network and system problems. Replacing defective components when necessary for our clients.

To be successful as a computer technician, you should possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, extensive technical knowledge, and good task management abilities. A top-notch computer technician should be able to optimize systems' efficiency, provide timely technical support, and have a great customer service background.

Computer Technician Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and installing new hardware and software
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers
  • Setting up, configuring and building computers
  • Maintaining hardware and software by conducting regular maintenance and updates.
  • Upgrading firmware, software, and outdated hardware systems.
  • Monitoring and maintaining security systems and installing updates.
  • Providing technical support to users and resolving technical errors.
  • Maintain records of repairs and work performed.
  • Preparing technical documents, such as error and maintenance reports.
  • Creating user documents and providing training on new computer systems.
  • Replace broken hardware

Computer Technician Requirements:

  • 1 year experience repairing, building and troubleshooting PC's and Mac's
  • Certifications are nice but needed with experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a computer technician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in computer operating systems, such as MS Windows and MAC OS
  • Good understanding of computer equipment
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to stay up to date with the latest advancements in hardware and software.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
