Catalyst Medical Group is Hiring a Certified Coder Near Lewiston, ID

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Coder to join our team. The Certified Coder will be responsible for reviewing medical documentation provided by healthcare providers and assigning appropriate medical codes for billing and insurance purposes.
**Qualifications:**
- Certification as a professional coder (CPC, CCS-P, or equivalent)
- In-depth knowledge of medical coding guidelines and regulations
- Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II code sets
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in medical coding preferred
**Responsibilities:**
- Review medical records and documentation to accurately assign codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services
- Ensure codes are in compliance with all coding guidelines and regulations
- Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding
- Stay informed about changes in coding guidelines and regulations
