Paraprofessional needed for Flint Schools

Hours vary from 7:00am-3:30pm or 8am-4pm

Excellent wage and an opportunity to do important work that supports students abilities to learn and teachers abilities to teach.

Works under the supervision of the teacher by assisting students with disabilities on an individual or group basis in the general education and or special education classrooms with instructional and non-instructional duties as directed.

Essential Functions:

• Interacts with all students and redirects students behavior in a positive manor
• Reinforces the directions and instructions given to the students by the classroom teacher
• Assists the teacher in the preparation of instructional materials
• Provides physical assistance to students with physical challenges

Qualifications:

• 60 semester hours of college credits

or

• Associates degree or higher

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 per hour
