Catalyst Fitness is looking for self-motivated, energetic, and detail oriented individuals to help maintain and clean our French Road club location. It's a great way to get started in the fitness field and gain work experience.

Job Description:

The job requires a high degree of dedication and self motivation. Job responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the gym, equipment, and cleaning supplies.

• Follow all state mandated cleaning and sanitizing requirements for gyms.
• Mop, vacuum, and clean floors, windows, and equipment.
• Mop, vacuum, and clean group fitness rooms, spin room, front lobby, and gym area.
• Put away and organize all weights, balls, mats, handles and all other equipment.
• Pick up all trash, magazines, lost and found items.
• Check and fill all spray bottles and paper towel dispensers.
• Pick up all trash and lost and found items.
• Pick up litter in front of buildings and empty trash cans.
• Check locker rooms every 30 minutes - take out trash, refill paper products, refill soaps, clean counters and mirrors, close all lockers, pick up trash and lost and found items, vacuum.
• Empty all trash cans and replace them with new bags. All trash bags are to be placed in the dumpster.
• Dust mop all non-carpeted areas.
• Vacuum workout floor.
• Wipe down all equipment and machines.
• Communicate issues or low supply stock with Manager.
• Perform other duties as directed by management
• Works when scheduled and adheres to our attendance policies.
• Walk the floor to make sure all member rules are being followed.
• Log all maintenance concerns that are reported.

Expectations:

• Maintain a neat appearance and wear proper uniform with name tag while on duty. It is the employee's responsibility to maintain his/her uniform.
• Nights and Weekend availability
• Maintain a high engagement level.
• Attend all staff meetings as directed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
