Job Role & Summary

The Fitness Sales Associate is primarily responsible for driving membership sales inside and outside of the club. They serve as the first point of contact to all new members, give tours, set New Member Orientations and sell personal training when appropriate. Performance can be measured by meeting monthly membership goals, customer satisfaction and personal training sales.

Responsibilities

• Generate new memberships through walk-in traffic, telephone inquiries, Club OS software systems, email leads, personal referral leads, corporate outreach and wellness fairs.

- Learn, practice, role-play and utilize skills and tactics to sell higher membership tiers

- Conduct Club tours to upsell and promote personal training

- Set New Member Orientations for all new members

• Coordinate and lead outreach activities to drive membership sales
• Help generate non-dues revenue through personal training, shake bar amenities and group fitness classes.
• Enthusiastically greet and check in all members entering facility by saying "hello" and "goodbye"
• Monitor member check in to address cancellations, past due payments and non-active members.
• Address all member requests adhering to all Catalyst Fitness policies and procedures
• Professionally and courteously answer the phone by the 3rd ring.
• Register all guests through proper registration features
• Perform regular staff walk-throughs to address member etiquette and assist in cleanliness activities when asked
• Learn and gain knowledge of all club equipment
• Assist cleaning team as directed by the manager. This includes wiping equipment, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and more.
• Assist with club operations when directed by the General Manager.
• Attend all team meetings as directed

• Active listening skills to address customer needs
• Willingness to learn and adhere to proper Catalyst Fitness procedures
• Organized competency, basic math skills, and strong public relations and communication skills.
• Safety knowledge and training (American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, AED - Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
