Catalyst Family is Hiring a Marketing Analyst Near Sacramento, CA

The Marketing Analyst drives marketing execution and partners with team members to ensure success in the areas of marketing and branding for Catalyst. The position works collaboratively with the Director, Marketing and Communications and other departmental leads, in the promotion and marketing of the organization's programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Executes on the marketing plans to convey a consistent message from pre-enrollment through alumni using a variety of vehicles including advertising, web, e-mail campaigns, collateral materials, and media relations.
  • Oversees a variety of publications including, but not limited to product website, brochures, e-blasts, marketing collateral, advertising, and internal documents. This includes writing, editing, and proofreading content and overseeing printing and distribution.
  • Manages timing and content of communications to maximize outreach with current and prospective families and the broader community in which our locations reside. Responsible for supporting various key Marketing initiatives designed to increase market awareness and brand recognition.
  • Analyzes metrics of various platforms to measure the efficacy of marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Manages and coordinates the creation of promotional materials and events to enhance the image of the organization and with the primary aim of attracting students and their families and ensure departments receive consistent and appropriate branding materials.
  • Collaborates with outside vendors on projects such as customer surveys, branding, rebranding, design, and redesigns of websites.
  • Collaborates with outside vendors on video and photo shoots.
  • Conducts internal training with new center staff and arranges for regional leadership meetings with staff for marketing changes, announcements, and center responsibilities.
  • Supports the Director as needed on the request for proposal (RFP) and Equipment Purchase Approval Requests (EPARS) contract process.
  • Collaborates with purchasing on other needed State approvals and submittals.
  • Oversees the creation of Annual Report for Marketing Department.
  • Identifies new marketing tools, resources, and opportunities while measuring potential return on investment (ROI).
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director.

Qualifications:
Education

The MINIMUM formal relevant education required by the position. Relevant experience/certifications in lieu of formal education will be considered.

  • AA degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • BA degree preferred

Experience

The MINIMUM relevant experience necessary to qualify for the position. Experience in lieu of education is to be counted as part of formal education and not as a part of the required experience.

  • 3-5 years' minimum experience in marketing

Other Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of web design and content management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of event planning, public relations, and marketing principles and practices
  • Demonstrated skill in the use of PC/MAC desktop publishing and word processing, including Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of research methodology, interpreting results, and data analysis
  • Superb writing, editing and proofreading skills; ability to write in a variety of styles
  • Experience and comfort with facilitation of committee meetings, preparing presentations, and speaking effectively in a variety of public forums
  • Experience in child development or child focused non-profit is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage a variety of tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently on complex projects
  • Ability to establish cooperative, tactful, effective, and harmonious working relationships with a diverse group of individuals, ranging from senior management, administration, location staff, and the general public
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure and still be flexible, use independent judgment, and produce quality work within tight time constraints
  • Ability to respond to sensitive matters and/or situations with discretion and tact
  • Ability to bring energy, creativity, professionalism, and community relations expertise that will make a substantial impact on special events while enhancing the image and positive relationships of the organization
  • Integrity, self-awareness, sense of humor, and a confidence-inspiring attitude
  • Travel: 10%-30%

Shift Type: Full-Time, Exempt, Hybrid

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Compensation: $80,957 - $121,435 annually
