Catalyst Clinical Research LLC is Hiring a Remote Senior Director, Oncology Solution Strategy

When protocols amend or emerging data suggest a breakthrough straight from Phase I to registration, we are ready.Position Summary: The Senior Director, Oncology Solution Strategy is part of the leadership team for Catalyst’s Oncology Solution and helps drive the solution’s growth, innovation, and positioning within the industry as a market-leading, biotech-centric full-service oncology CRO. The role collaborates with key executive, scientific, medical, operational, and commercial stakeholders to synthesize key markets, competitive trends, and customer insights into a compelling solution strategy to drive market growth. Additionally responsible for developing marketing strategies, messages, and content that differentiate the Catalyst Oncology brand from competitors. Based on forward looking strategy, recommends, and collaborates on the development of new / expanded service offerings including value position development and go-to-market planning and content development. Key collaboration areas include corporate strategy, operational SMEs, scientific and medical SMEs, relationship managers and business development, and marketing and communications.Position Qualifications and Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or scientific field;
  • 5-10 years of drug development industry experience
  • A demonstrated understanding of the CRO market; experience with a specialty provider, the biotech customer buyer, and specific exposure to the oncology therapeutic area preferred
  • 5-10 years of strategy development, strategic messaging and market/customer research with proven track record creating and executing strategic plans; oncology specific experience is preferred
  • Experience with market and competitive intelligence research to support strategy development
  • Understanding of the small to mid-sized biotech market
  • Experience with new service/product offering development
  • Use of innovative outreach programs
  • Experience with change management planning and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly absorb new information
  • Proven cross functional leadership and influencing skills
  • Experience working with and supporting executive management
  • The ability to lead and inspire internal and external SMEs and content creators to achieve the company’s business goals
  • Project management skills to manage schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns
  • Demonstrated communication skills, a positive attitude, a team player, and the ability to achieve set targets
  • Detail- and service-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure
  • Self-motivated with a tenacious drive for results
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present information
  • Strong organizational management skills with exceptional ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Maintain a high level of market knowledge and competitive intelligence
  • Strong planning and analysis skills
  • Proficiency in all MS-Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of strategy, sales, and marketing applications such as CRM (i.e. GlobalData, SalesForce, Zoho etc) and CMS (i.e. WordPress, etc)
