Position Description:

Catalpa Health is seeking a development specialist who will be responsible for researching and drafting of grant proposals and reports, as well as, supporting the functions of Catalpa Health's development department and philanthropic initiatives.

• Track, research and submit grant proposals
• Oversee and manage the fundraising database and tracking system
• Organize and coordinate activities of volunteers and committees engaged in fundraising activities

Skills Needed:

• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
• Demonstrated strong and creative problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and ability to meet deadlines

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in non-profit management or related field required.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in grant writing required.
