The Role :

The Housekeeper will be accountable for performing all daily tasks associated with housekeeping duties including :

Cleaning and making up guest rooms

Maintaining room supplies in guest rooms and on linen carts, paper supplies, amenities, linens, etc.

Checking all equipment in guest rooms to ensure everything is in proper working order

Report missing / found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to management.

Assisting in Laundry area as needed.

Cleaning common areas such as banquet & meeting rooms, public areas including patios and hallways, lobby, etc

Report to work in the required uniform and in adherence with company dress code policy.

Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

Highschool Graduate or GED

Must be well organized and able to work independently

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to work with a variety of different cleaning agents and understand their uses and safety procedures

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Physical Requirements :

The duties of the job is required to stand, walk, handle or feel objects, tools, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk, hear;

reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 30 pounds and sometimes lift and / or move up to 30 pounds.

Exert physical effort in being able to clean several rooms or areas per shift.

Job Expectations regarding Scheduling :

This position requires a flexible schedule with shifts that consists of a rotating schedule of weekday and weekend shifts, including day, night, and holiday work hours.
