SUMMARY: The Engineer II will provide efficient solutions to the development of processes and equipment relating to the manufacturing of high pressure cylinder. He or She will be responsible for the designing and implementation of mechanical and electromechanical systems and components to improve safety, reliability, and product throughput. It will be His or Her duty to oversee the build, installation, and implementation of new equipment and processes to accomplish this goal. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Read and interpret as well as create blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports. Be able to lead projects both in-house as well as directing contracted builds. To apply knowledge of engineering principles to the design, repair, and analysis of equipment failure. Works closely with production and maintenance to implement operating procedures to resolve system malfunctions. Estimates cost and submits bid/budgets for the build, rebuild, or repair of equipment. Be proficient.in CAD based software. Both 2D and 3D modeling.
