- Safe and timely operation of a transit coach in all types of weather conditions while in compliance with FTA policies/procedures and all Federal and State traffic laws/regulation
- Tactful and courteous interaction with riders, other motorists, and the general public
- Maintain working knowledge of streets, current bus routes and stops, fare structures, and bus pass programs
- Comply with ADA requirements to properly operate the accessibility ramp and wheelchair lifts, safely secure passengers, and make required stop announcements as needed
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections
- Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly as needed for pre-trip/post-trip, incidents/accidents, and maintenance repair forms
- Work a flexible schedule up to 26 hours per week that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and split shifts
- Performs related tasks as required
