Career Area: Manufacturing & Supply Chain Job Description: We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Supervisor to guide a team of Quality Inspectors at our North Little Rock, AR facility, where we make many of the machines that help our customers build a better world. Among other responsibilities, as the Quality Supervisor, you can expect to: Develop and direct a high performing team of Team Leads and Quality Inspectors who validate that our machines meet Caterpillar’s industry leading quality standards through a variety of methods, including visual inspection and audits. Ensure “wall to wall” inspection coverage through visible hands-on team leadership across the Assembly and Machining operations in this more than 700,000 square foot facility. Collaborate with other functions to support quality initiatives in facility operations, supplier quality, and materials technology. Ensure conformity to global quality processes defined in the Caterpillar Quality Management System (QMS) including conformance to specifications of fabrications, purchased material, machined parts and assemblies. To be successful you must bring (basic qualifications): A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Top candidates will also bring (preferred qualifications): Experience in manufacturing/operations and/or a quality role.
