Our Company has an immediate need for a Highly Ethical, Committed, Professional Marketer who can span the tasks of opening doors (via phone or in-person) to locate and nurture leads as well as meet with customers at both a customer site and/or point-of-purchase (counter sales) environments.

Our Marketing Coordinator is a working position and reports directly to the Sales Manager as a working team member. In addition, be able to validate and coordinate the work of others who support the overall activities within the department. This position is expected to suggest improvements to processes and act as a knowledge resource for other team members.

Objectives

· Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to promote our products or services

· Build rapport with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to generate leads and drive sales!

· Address customer concerns and overcoming objections to influence buying decisions through persuasive sales conversations

· Collaborate with sales teams to schedule appointments, demos or consultations for qualified leads

· Achieve or exceed individual targets and goals related to lead generation, appointment setting and sales conversion

Responsibilities

· Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers, using your persuasive skills to promote our products and services effectively

· Identify and qualify sales leads, capture essential customer information and assess their needs to tailor appropriate solutions

· Engage with potential customers in a professional and persuasive manner, clearly articulating the features, advantages and benefits of our offerings

· Follow up on leads and maintain regular communication with potential customers to build relationships and increase the likelihood of sales conversions

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions

· Collaborate with the sales team to provide qualified leads and relevant information for an effective follow-up

Job Qualities

· Persistence: not give in on the first negative answer from the potential customer but persist in informing the customer about their product or services.

· Focus and determination: focus on sales results during a set scheduled earnings period for the company or organization.

· Telephone skills: excellent telephone experience helps marketer interact with prospects more effectively

· Time management: how to manage time when speaking to many customers in a day.

· Product knowledge: acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of how our products or services meet the demands of our customers

· Customer service: great, not just good, customer service; knowing how to deal with prospective customers

· Understanding: customer needs and behaviors

· Respond appropriately: to a customer’s questions or concerns.

Job Functions (optional)

· Collaborate with sales, marketing, advertising, product design and product development team members to plan promotional marketing campaigns

· Creating editorial and content for various media platforms and outlets

· Assist in developing and communicating our brand that best captures our company voice and mission

· Meet with clients (primarily via phone) to discuss our brand, their goals and delivery timelines

· Conduct market research to determine a target audience’s needs, wants, habits, interests and other relevant factors used in creating a targeted market niche

· Research previous successful markets to understand what worked, what didn’t and what can be improved

· Review the progress and success of niche markets, make adjustments and pitching ideas for new markets

Skills & Other Proficiencies

· Excellent verbal communication skills and a clear and confident phone manner, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits persuasively

· Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

· Knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management principles

· Ability to adapt to changing sales strategies and market dynamics

· Understanding of the North Carolina economy, market trends and competitors’ landscape

· Solid persuasive and negotiation abilities to influence buying decisions

· A customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address customer needs.

· Resilience and perseverance to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a sales-driven role

· Organizational skills to manage customer information and follow-up activities

· Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems or call center software

· Professionalism, integrity and a positive attitude in all customer interactions

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $41,023.18 - $49,404.26 per year
