Casual Pint - Dunn Loring is Hiring a Kitchen staff Near Fairfax, VA

Up to 24 / week available

No experience necessary, but preferred!

The Casual Pint - Dunn Loring is a relaxed family-friendly local hang-out that we call a Beerstro - craft beer bistro. We have an upscale vibe in a casual atmosphere.

We also love noshing on good food with craft beer. We serve a simple, fresh menu made with love everyday. We offer flexible hours for full- and part-time positions.

The first Casual Pint opened in April 2014. As a family-owned company, they look the qualities in their franchise owners that built their company - a love of craft beer, a passion for bringing together community, and an uncompromising obsession with quality products and service.

Job Description :

  • Cook / Kitchen Staff
  • Work in a casual, fun environment away from the stressful kitchens of downtown DC
  • Flexible Hours
  • Certified ServSafe preferred, but not required
  • Self-Starter - able to work without constant oversight
  • Consistent work ethic
  • Hourly Rate $15 / hour - negotiable with experience

Job Responsibilities Include, but not limited to :

  • Responsible for food preparation and cooking main dishes, desserts, and appetizers
  • Wash and clean cooking utensils and storing the equipment during shifts
  • Ensure the kitchen procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
  • Manage food orders efficiently
  • Prepare food items accurately
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
  • Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions :
  • Walks and stands during entire shift
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and lifting
  • Hazards include, but not limited to working with broken glass, slipping, and tripping
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
  • Pre-Employment Qualifications :
  • High School Education / GED Equivalent
  • Background Check
  • Reference Check
  • Subject to Drug Screen
