We are seeking a Staff Consultant (Policy) to support a federal agency by providing Federal Policy Support services. This is a great role for an individual who can perform work with minimal supervision while collaborating with colleagues to meet client expectations. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support in reviewing, drafting, and updating new and existing policy as it relates to financial and business processes.
• Drafting Process Map and Narratives for new and existing policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with various Subject Matter Experts, Process Owners, and Stakeholders in addressing gaps and known gaps and deficiencies.
• Conduct independent research into various references and cited documentation in addressing gaps, known gaps, and deficiencies. 
• Critical thinking skill and expertise necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of related experience in business/finance writing or other relevant experience and writing.
• Experience technical/business writing, proof reading and analysis.
• Well versed in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Security Clearance: Must currently poses a Secret Level clearance or be able to obtain and maintain one. Existing clearance preferred.
