Job Summary: An Event Specialist is an individual responsible for making sure the event day (weddings, corporate and private events, etc.) and required actions leading up to the event day are executed perfectly. The Event Specialist’s role includes leading meetings, overseeing vendors, managing timeline and overcoming any last minute challenges that arise during the event.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and participate in tours of Castle Ridge

· Attend meetings with the client to document event requirements

· Set up detailed schedule for and attend wedding rehearsals, ceremonies and receptions

· Understand, document and provide instruction for set up of rooms

· Discuss with outside vendors their schedules and needs for the day of the event

· Discuss order of wedding ceremony with officiant

· Discuss order of event with DJ/ Musician

· Report directly to the Event Director

· Set up and keep watch on the Bridal Suite and Grooms Space

· For weddings, provide direct attention to Bride, Groom, Bridal Party and immediate family Day Of

· Discuss order of photos with photographer

· Keep watch on event timeline and communicate directly with the Event Director

· Attend event from the first formality to the last

Requirements:

· 2 Years of experience in management, leadership or operations

· Time Management and Organizational Skills

· Customer Service Skills

· Weekend Availability

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
