Castle Hotel & Spa is Hiring a Sales & Events Coordinator Near Tarrytown, NY

Job Description:

The Castle Hotel & Spa is actively searching for a highly motivated, detailed, and service-oriented Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team of professionals.

The Castle Hotel & Spa is located in historic Tarrytown, perched majestically atop one of the highest points in the region overlooking the historic Hudson River in the lower Hudson Valley of Westchester County, NY.

The Castle Hotel & Spa features 31 traditionally appointed guest rooms and suites, 4,100 square feet of meeting and event space, Equus, a farm to table Mediterranean inspired restaurant, a luxurious Spa with his and her whirlpool, health and fitness center, and a spectacular outdoor seasonal pool and whirlpool, landscaped jogging paths.

Salary range is $50,000 to $52,000.

Job Summary:

  • ¨ Support Sales Department with customer inquiries, facility tours and events, and handle day-to-day tasks that support the Sales process and overall growth for the property.

  • Efficiently respond to any online or telephone queries in a calm, friendly, and professional manner.

  • ¨ Keen attention to detail when composing, typing, and reviewing materials, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.

  • ¨ Assist clients with vendor recommendations and any planning they need.

  • Attend BEO meetings with staff and culinary partner to outline upcoming events.

  • Design floor plans and timing logistics of events.

  • ¨ Assist with execution of event on day-of, including logistical set up, supervision of event and staff.

  • ¨ Create post-event evaluations, including meeting notes and updates to members of the Sales team. Complete Captains reports as necessary.

Experience and Skills:

  • 1 years of Sales Management in a hospitality setting
  • Strong Group and Social Experience
  • Strong leadership and effective written & verbal communication skills.
  • Must be extremely self-motivated and highly efficient
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on client needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent computer skills needed
  • Ability to train, motivate, and supervise
  • Must have on-hand event catering and detailing experience
