Castell Rooftop Lounge is seeking a Temporary Event Sales Administrator to assist with managing event inquiries and sales processes. In this role, you will field incoming inquiries via email and phone, directing prospective and existing clients to the appropriate managers and ensuring timely follow-up. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional customer service throughout the event planning and execution process.

This position is estimated to work 15-20 hours per week for an anticipated duration between 60-90 days.

Responsibilities

Here’s the kind of work you’ll get to do:

• Sales support

• Field email and/or phone requests to appropriate managers depending on party size

• Direct all event inquiries and any potential confirmed events to operations team

• Aid in ensuring delivery and answer any questions regarding event contracts

• Ensure courteous, timely follow-up to prospective clients

• Communicate with clients about event services and reservations

• Onsite event support

• Collaborate with Operations team to ensure events meet guest expectations as outlined in BEO

• Serve as liaison for onsite events

• Support with timely post event support and communication

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Highly organized and detail-oriented in planning all aspects of catered events.

• Experience with CRM software and applications necessary to prepare planning documents, budgets, and reports.

• Knowledge of food and beverage safety and permit laws as they apply to offsite catering.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

• Intuitive understanding of restaurant service.

• Guest recovery skills

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan ahead.

• Experience in B2B selling.

• Ability to work independently while staying committed to the brand.

• Experience marketing a consumer product or service within an industry that demands speed, flexibility, and fast turnarounds.

• Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays as needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
