Responsibilities

Castalia Systems is seeking a Software Engineer/Data Engineer in the Chantilly, VA area.

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• Lead and manage multiple technical tasks in software design, implementation, and integration projects.
• Independently perform exceptionally complex software development tasks.
• Ensure efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
• Mitigate risks, control costs/ schedule variances, and effectively manage large scale, integrated software projects.
• Support system and tool accreditation and Authorization to Operate (ATO) approvals.

Qualifications

Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
• 6 years' experience in developing software applications.
• Extensive experience with Windows, UNIX, Oracle, ArcGIS, ArcSDE, Visual Basic, web applications, data processing, system administration, system security.
• Must have programming experience with Visual Basic, Cold Fusion, JAVA and/or other programming languages.
• Experience with AWS/cloud services and data migration to the cloud.
