Qualifications:

2. Valid South Carolina Driver’s License

5. Maintain positive collaboration and teamwork with Agency workforce

Job Description:

Responsible for attending to the specific needs of an elderly person, children, or disabled person. Caregivers ensure that those under their care are clean, fed and safe. Provides assistance with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, preparing meals, light housekeeping and observing for health signs. Provide short-term relief for family caregivers and needed supervision of clients. Run small errands (pick-up prescriptions, grocery store, etc.)

Essential Job Results;

1. Ensures a compliant and successful delivery of services to client by following the authorized care plan and other duties as assigned.

2. Complies with Agency Regulations by properly using the Care Call System for In-Home Services, recording daily care notes, and reporting any significant changes in the client to the Agency.

3. Maintain professional competence by attending professional trainings/workshops, reading professional publications and networking.

4. Ensures client safety by preventing client falls, taking medications correctly, and receiving adequate nutrition.

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually (or when deemed necessary by the Administrator) in accordance with provisions of the Agency’s policy on evaluation of personnel.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
