We are seeking a Technical Support & Repair Specialist to join our team. As a TSRS, you will be responsible for providing excellent technical support to our clients along with being hands on with customer repairs/returns. This is a great opportunity for someone with proficient computer hardware knowledge, hands on repair skills and a passion for helping others.
```Responsibilities```
- Provide technical support to clients phone and email
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, software and technical issues
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of equipment
- Collaborate with other teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Document and track customer interactions and resolutions in our ticketing system
- Be a key contributor and support our production line for customer projects
- Multi-tasker with answering customer calls and hands on repairs
- Shipping customer returns through our shipping platform
- Must be hands on
- We are changing the typical call center and repair depot landscape by combining the skills associated with both activities into one seamless action
- You will be supporting our proprietary software and hardware solution by answering incoming calls, emails, and chats to resolve our customers' issues
- You will also be doing the physical repair of the solution components as they are needed
- This role is primarily Mon-Fri but may require support during the weekend operating hours
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in a technical support role or similar position (minimum of 18 months)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
- Proficiency in troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and other platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience with Windows and Mac OS desktop support
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Working knowledge of the use of small tools in the repair of electromechanical devices. Experience in repairing office equipment copiers, fax machines, printers, scanners, or small appliances
- Proven excellent attendance history in your previous employment
- Must have flexibility with shifts, including weekend coverage
