Cass Health is currently looking for individuals interested in pursuing a career in nursing or currently pursuing a career in nursing to join our team as a nursing registered apprenticeship. The registered apprenticeship program includes a combination of on-the-job learning and traditional classroom work at a neighboring community college. Participants will work as Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in various nursing departments while they are enrolled in school.
Participants must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in a nursing program at either Iowa Western Community College (IWCC) or Southwest Iowa Community College (SWCC). Participants must also have or plan to complete Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and certification.

Note: Cass Health is still waiting for final approval from the U.S. Department of Labor and the Iowa Board of Nursing for this registered apprenticeship program.
