Community Hope & Recovery Center in Beardstown, IL has an immediate opening for the position of Part-time Store Associate in our New 2 You thrift store. The ideal candidate must be flexible and must have the ability to effectively communicate with the general public. Basic computer skills, the ability to lift and carry merchandise and the ability to count money is also necessary in this position. The Store Associate will also be needed to work on Saturdays.

The job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Opening and closing the store
• Operating the cash register
• Organizing, stocking and moving merchandise
• Receiving and sorting donated items
• General Housekeeping

Primary Hours will be:

• Wednesday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Saturdays: 8:30 am - 1:30 pm
• Must be flexible and open to being called in for additional days

Prior retail experience is preferred, but not necessary.
