Responsibilities include supervising a caseload of both felony and misdemeanor offenders placed on Community Supervision (probation) by the Courts.
Qualified applicants must meet minimum standards for Community Supervision Officers in Texas, as stated in the Standards for TDCJ-CJAD Article 16333. Must have interpersonal skills necessary to deal with clients, public, co-workers, Court personnel and personnel of other agencies and departments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college, preferably in Criminal Justice, Corrections, Psychology or Sociology. At least one year prior case management experience is preferred.
