General Summary of Job Duties

As a Heavy- Duty Cleaner you will be supporting the back of the house in many different roles. You will be assigned to one of our (4) restaurants.

Essential Job Function and Duties

• Be involved in deep cleaning under cooking/refrigeration appliances, behind storage areas.
• Wash of all dishes cleared from the dining areas.
• Wash of all heavy pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
• Dust, sweep, and mop various kitchen areas when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a dishwasher is preferred.

Must be able to walk, crawl, lift, lower, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds. Heavier items require assistance.

Must be flexible and able to work weekends.

The ability to take and follow directions well.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.

High School Diploma and/or GED preferred

Must have the ability to successfully interact with other team members and management.

Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
