Cashmere Valley Bank is Hiring a Commercial Lender Near Leavenworth, WA

Position Description

Cashmere Valley Bank is seeking a full-time Loan Officer to serve in the Cashmere Washington market area. The ideal candidate would be a credit generalist with 5 years’ experience in C&I, various types of commercial real estate, construction, and commercial and residential development lending. Loan Officers are responsible for identifying and evaluating consumer and commercial borrowers’ needs and structuring lending solutions agreeable to both the borrower and the Bank’s risk appetite, product availability and credit culture.

Primary Responsibilities

· Interview prospective borrowers;

· Collecting, spreading and analyzing financial reports;

· Interpreting financial data and trends along with other qualitative information;

· Ordering and reviewing appraisal, title, and environmental reports;

· Drafting concise yet deliberative loan reports;

· Use your delegated authority, or make recommendations, to approve or decline credit requests;

· Communicate and explain the decision to the applicant, looking for opportunities to add value;

· Collect and compile all necessary file documentation;

· Work with internal teams to prepare loan documents;

· Coordinate with closing agents for payoff instructions and loan funding;

· Manage lending relationships and complete ongoing monitoring of loans through maturity;

· Identify and cultivate new relationship opportunities.

Loan Officers are responsible for understanding and adhering to industry regulation and bank policy. Loan Officers have the potential of being future leaders, and as such, should be able to demonstrate good leadership skills or potential. Additionally, Loan Officers are expected to be involved in the local community.

Education and Experience Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance or economics, preferred;

· 3 years or more of on-the-job credit analyst or lending experience

Compensation

Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience. Standard benefits include, but are not limited to, company paid health/dental insurance coverage for the employee, 401(k), life and disability insurance coverage, paid sick leave, paid vacation.
