Cash-Wa is Hiring a Recruiter Near Kearney, NE

This is an on-site position. While the primary duty will be doing phone interviews (mostly for warehouse and CDL drivers, but other positions as well), will also assist with various Human Resources tasks that require an on-site presence.

This is a great position for someone needing flexible hours or working on a HR degree and looking for experience.

This is an entry level position with room to grow. The primary focus will be on basic recruiting / hiring (conducting phone interviews, facilitating new hire paperwork and orientation, and pre-employment drug screens).

As time permits, or in-between interviewing, will also assist in processing confidential federal / state / legal documents (garnishments, verifications of employment, state unemployment docs, etc.

and assisting with payroll processing. A successful candidate will be organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be extremely thorough, problem solves, has a high level of confidentiality, and is process oriented.

Hours : 15 - 29 hours per week with a mostly regular schedule to facilitate planning and scheduling, but we are open to occasional edits as needed.

Can schedule your hours from 8am - 6pm, Monday through Friday.

Starting Wage : $16-$17 / hr - depending on experience

Job Duties :

Interview candidates. Will do phone and / or in-person interviews with candidates as required for each position you are working on.

Primary focus will be on Warehouse, CDL, and Shop positions. Will do so in congruence with all applicable state and federal laws.

  • Pre-employment requirements. Will set up and / or conduct pre-employment requirements as needed which could include scheduling physicals and potentially administering on-site drug testing.
  • New hire on-boarding. Will schedule for new-hire orientation as needed and do the HR portion of the training and will potentially be the backup for other parts of the training.
  • Paperwork processing. Will ensure that all new hire paperwork is correctly and completely filled out, and will follow up on missing items.
  • Payroll entry. All new hires need to be entered into the payroll and other systems accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Payroll assistance. Assistance with payroll may include tracking down information, enter data into the software, or even fully processing a payroll.
  • Miscellaneous paperwork : Will be the primary person responsible for completing various forms such as verifications of employment, unemployment paperwork, etc.
  • Other projects as assigned. As time permits or needs dictate, will be given other projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability :

  • Strong computer skills are essential : Outlook / Excel / Word familiarity is desirable.
  • Payroll experience helpful
  • Attention to detail and being process oriented is essential
  • Communicate effectively and professionally via phone and email required
  • Communicate to all levels of
  • Perform duties and stay on track with minimal direction
  • Ensuring discretion and security of sensitive information

Education & Experience :

  • High school degree required, advanced education (especially in Human Resources) is preferred
  • Prior experience in Human Resources or performing relevant duties is preferred.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations preferred
  • Recruiting experience desired
